Superset (superset.sh) and Saycode: what’s the difference?

Looking for a Superset alternative? Start with what each is built for. Superset (superset.sh) runs coding agents in parallel; it is not Apache Superset. Saycode deploys what agents build for the whole team, with AI costs in one place.

Which one fits?

When Superset fits

  • A developer wants to split work across several agents on a Mac
  • You want to keep using your agent subscriptions on your own computer

When Saycode fits

  • Colleagues who are not developers need to use and fix what was built
  • Tools need to be deployed to an internal URL and managed by the company
  • Company database access must be set per person, down to tables and columns

Already using Superset?

  1. 1

Developers split work across agents in Superset to build features, then push the code to a repository.

  2. 2

Use “Import a code repository” in Saycode to turn that repository into a project and deploy it to an internal URL.

  3. 3

Colleagues on Windows and colleagues who are not developers open the same project and change it by asking, and the original owner reviews before it is merged.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Apache Superset?

No. The Superset on this page is the coding agent app from superset.sh. Apache Superset is a data visualization and BI tool, and the two are unrelated.

Should we use Saycode instead of Superset?

They do different jobs. Superset helps developers code fast with several agents, and Saycode deploys and shares what they build as company tools, with AI costs managed in one place. If you already use Superset, you can use both.

Can we use it on Windows?

According to its official documentation, Superset does not support Windows yet. Saycode works on the web, macOS and Windows desktops, and iOS and Android apps.
