Frequently asked questions
We already use Lovable or Replit. Do we need Saycode?
Different goals. If an individual or small team is shipping public apps fast, the tool you have fits. If departments build internal tools, connect AI subscriptions and APIs with costs managed in one place, and keep what they build with the company, Saycode fits.
If we already have Claude Code or Codex subscriptions, are there separate AI token charges?
No. Connect the Claude Code or Codex subscription you already have and Saycode works within its limits with no separate token charges. Without a subscription you can start on the trial model.
Replit has an enterprise plan too. What is different?
Replit Enterprise has management features such as private deployments and company sign-in (SSO). Saycode differs in how AI cost works: it connects Claude Code and Codex subscriptions and APIs, with costs managed in one place.
How is it different from an AI API gateway or LLM router?
They serve a different purpose. A gateway or router lets developers call many AI APIs through one endpoint from their own service. Saycode connects AI subscriptions and APIs with costs managed in one place, picks a model that matches each request’s difficulty, and lets employees build and use work tools.
How is it different from AI coding tools for developers (IDEs)?
They are made for different people. Developer coding tools are used by developers working directly with code on their own computers. In Saycode you build by describing what you want, so employees who are not developers can use it too, and what they build is deployed to an internal address where colleagues can pick it up.
Can it replace outsourced development?
For internal tools that change often, yes. The person who knows the work best builds and fixes them. Large core systems meant to run for years are better owned by a dedicated engineering team.
